  • 4 medium golden potatoes, peeled
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch (approx.)
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder (or crushed cube)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • 1 tsp parsley (optional)
  • Mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
  • Oil, for frying

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until fork-tender.
  2. Drain well and let the steam escape to remove excess moisture.
  3. Transfer potatoes to a bowl and mash until completely smooth.
  4. Add chicken bouillon, salt, garlic powder, parsley, and cornstarch.
  5. Mix until the dough is soft but firm enough to hold its shape.
  6. Take a heaping tablespoon of potato mixture and flatten it in your palm.
  7. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center, wrap the potato mixture around it, and roll into a ball.
  8. Gently flatten and use a heart-shaped cutter to form the shape (or shape by hand).
